Some where in the late night hours of March 1, or early morning hours of March 2, 2008, SGT Randi Miller (25 of Laconia, NH) and SSG Timothy Miller (27 of Gardnerville, NV) were shot to death, in their own home, by an alleged "friend" and fellow active soldier. Following a botched clean up of the crime scene, which included attempting to "dispose" of their bodies in a tub of acid Kassidy Miller (6 months old) was kidnapped.
Hours later Military Police were alerted to Kassidy's presence on base at Fort Lewis, WA. Thankfully Kassidy was returned to our family unharmed. The fellow active duty solder, who ultimately confessed to the two murders, was taken into custody.
